Active Tailoring: the thermal collection by éclectic
The search for innovative materials remains a central focus in the development of éclectic’s collection. This winter, the parisian concept, pioneer in active tailoring, axes its savoir-faire around an essential functionality: thermal dynamics.
éclectic utilizes technical woolen cloth – one of the the brand’s preferred winter material – combined with a membrane layer for optimal thermal insulation.
The knitted technowools, also permanent parts of the collection, provide protection from the cold in extreme comfort, without ever losing their shape.
Designed from wool and cachemire and lined with micro-fibers, a new martingale coat reflects the evolution of éclectic’s move towards more ample fits. This trend can also be distinguished by the Hooded Overcoat in Cordura® — a fabric 4 times more resistant than nylon and 20 times more than cotton.
In order to ensure a proper shape and to extend an added durability to its pieces, the brand has each jacket canvassed by an artisan Maître Tailleur in Italy. The result is a hybrid collection, a sartorial answer to the coming of sportswear in men’s fashion.
